For a Labrador retrievers, black fur color is dominant to yellow.?

Explain how a zygous black dog can have a different genotype than a heterozygous black dog. Could the heterozygous black dog have the same genotype as a yellow-haired dog? Once again, I'm in Grade 11 and have difficulty with Biology. I appreciate any help. Thank you.
