I am in the process of being divorced. Should I date a married man if he says he is going to file for divorce

He is currently living with his wife, he spends most nights with me, he says he is not ually active with his wife and has not been for months, he says he does have his name tied up in a house which has a second Mortgage and his name is on 2 vehicles. She does not want to divorce. He is waiting on a settlement so he can get one or more of these things paid for before he divorces it seems, he is asking me to be patient what should I do, he would live with me but I have 4 older children living with me and being that my divorce is not final they would not understand. Also, I don't want to jeopardize my awards from my divorce by having a man living with me before my divorce is final. Should i give him a chance or should I demand he start his divorce now if he wants to be with me. I really care for him, he claims to care for me. It seems that he does care. But, I don't want to be mixed up in something that could lead to pain and heartache.
